Seriously, give it a rest...the hulkamaniac was naked on this couples front porch and beat the shit out of them...then it took a bunch of cops to take his roid-raged ass down.

From reading the article there is literally nothing to indicate that the cops did anything wrong or were acting like "thugs"

Actually, thinking about it more, there is a very good reason:

Why did the cops make a point of "wrestling" the guy down? The cops have tools for subduing adversaries in that sort of situation...tasers, bean bags, chemical agents, hell, even clubs. Why didn't they use one of the many tools they had at their disposal and instead decided to get into a brawl?

What this story is really about is cops who disregarded common sense and proper procedure and got themselves in a compromising situation then tried to spin it around and portray themselves as heroes instead of incompetent bullies. Then again, this also demonstrates another truth: cops ask for those kinds of toys because they like using them for everything but their intended purpose. If these people weren't in uniform, they'd be torturing small animals for fun.

Then again there are people like Usd and Azelma who think that clearly because the people who have every reason to lie said something on the internet, it must be true!

Also pointing out something else. Where do you think this guy gets his roids? Probably, at the local club, or something like that. Consider that a bouncer at the local club can't call for backup...he can't shoot someone because he feels like it...he doesn't have a union...he doesn't have a chest full of fun toys...yet he has to meet the same danger, mano y mano. He would have to deal with this same dude if he raged in public. You want to talk about a tough job, THAT'S a tough job.

Not that I have any love for bouncers. They're thugs too. Just saying, insofar as dealing with this guy could be a challenge, that's the sort of scenario which would qualify as one's job "sucking".

Story doesn't make sense. A stun gun can incapacitate a bull. You can see videos on youtube if you don't believe me. And...four sets of handcuffs? Cuffs are made of high strength steel. He's not literally the Hulk. Never mind the other options I pointed out.

its more so that the guy was so big and the links(I think its some form of hinges now) that connect the cuffs couldn't reach, so they had to connect a cuff to his wrist, to another handcuff, then to the other wrist.

Again not uncommon, they never said he broke through the cuffs. If the cops are attempting to subdue someone who is out of their mind on some for of drug (roids in this case, but more often pcp) and multiple officers are attempting to cuff the person, they will cuff one hand each and link the cuffs together. A 300 pound weightlifter is no small man, it would be much easier to use two and try to pull his arms together, the same with cuffing his ankles. Shackles would be in the trunk of the cruisers, better to get him detained as quick as possible, ems isn't able to help the people he attacked until he is under control.

Again, you're proving the cops lied. They spun it as a guy "Hulking Out" when the truth was the guy just had a really wide chest. Implying that what made the thing such a big deal in the first place was something else entirely.
