I was a little excited for BF3, especially after working on those servers, but when they started with the Origin thing, and followed with everything else, I lost interest.

Still playing through ME3 and enjoying it.

My question - okay, if they botched the ending....does that make the whole game bad? If the game is good/enjoyable, and the ending just happens to suck, does it ruin the entire experience of playing through 3 games, hours upon hours of content?

@Azelma, yes it does. It is such an incoherent, poorly written ending that completely nullifies any choices you've made up to that point. My friend who was a total renegade received the EXACT same ending that my fully paragon Shepndid, despite us playing through the whole series differently. Not to mention the whole 'it was just a dream' bullshit at the end of the credits.

Hmm, yeah the more i'm learning about this the less I'm liking it. I'm still going to play the game through though...I spent $70 on a collectors edition afterall.

As I said in the other thread, just don't play the last mission. Go to earth, go to the FOB, have pre-final battle chat with everyone then alt-f4. Don't continue until they rectify the ending.

There was one other game I vaguely recall ended with all participants dying or having been proven to be puppets or somesuch. I can't recall for the life of me what it was and this deeply disturbs me.

Final Fantasy Tactics (Shakespearean ending if there ever was one) and Final Fantasy 7 vaguely fit the bill but those aren't the ones I was thinking of.
