I don't know if you guys have heard this band, but they're so amazing that I've done the following:

1) I actually paid for their album.
2) I got my dead ass tonight, drove an hour to a Metro station, took the train into DC, and went to their show.
3) I bought a hoodie from their merchandise booth...but to honest that's only because the temperature dropped like a motherfucker and I didn't want the pal I brought with me to get cold walking back to and around the Metro..

I took a few pics, but my phone's camera sucks and I was busy drinking, flirting with girls, and screaming/clapping like a jackass.

The one opening band, A Place to Bury Strangers, was really great. I may look up more of their stuff.

Taking an extended hiatus from gaming

It probably kept me from being mugged on the way home. There were a lotta brothers and sisters on the Metro wearing Trayvon Martin hoodies like they'd just come from a rally or something. The fact that I had Christina all bundled up in a similar black hoodie probably confused the shit out of them. I was soooooo glad when I finally got her back to her car and got my hoodie back, it got cold as fuck. Fortunately, she was so grateful I walked her back to her car instead of leaving her to fend for herself that she drove me back to my car, so I neither froze nor had to really exert myself.

I stopped at an IHOP on the way home and gorged myself on pork products. It was almost 3 am before I got back here.
