i could've sworn i wrote that as objectively as possible, in no way inferring that "people need to part ways for me". i apologize if that's what it sounded like. also, i further apologize if it sounds like i use being a veteran to glean as much positive feedback as possible. i honestly don't expect different treatment from people in any way.
Maybe it's not what you *meant* but that appears to be the underlying thought process.
Perhaps you don't even realize the extent to which you may feel that way.

also, you're right, i do have problems reintegrating. i have problems driving down the road without wanting to ram slower vehicles out of the way. i have nightmares every night. i have gone to counseling. i sat there patiently while a 27 year old woman with a recently earned degree in psychology tried to tell me she understands.
lmfao sounds like fail. The shrink I mean. You should just stop seeing her. She's causing you more harm than good by making you jaded and upset with false empathy.
Maybe you need a different approach.
1. What and how much do you eat? What is your weight and build? Do you eat mostly fresh food, prepared food, or packaged food?
2. Are you physically active?
3. How much sex do you get? Do you enjoy it?
4. What's your income like? Are you working? Are you comfortable off your military stipend?
5. Do you associate much with other former soldiers? Do you keep in touch with your former unit?
6. Do you take chems?
7. Do you have much free time? How do you spend it?

all i've ever wanted is not to be asked about it, or judged because of it, so i suppose i'll stop mentioning it as it seems to attract unwanted attention.
Are you sure that's what you "want"? You've volunteered the information on at least three occasions. I see many other former soldiers do the same thing.
Maybe what you say you want isn't what you really want.
