Quantity > Quality.

I like money.

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

If you like money, you're better off eating rice, vegetables, and lentils as opposed to shoving fast food down your gullet, the latter of which will rack up massive doctor's bills in the long-term.

Eh, you can eat what you want.

The real culprits of American obesity are Americans themselves, not a food group or corporation. It is convenient and wishful thinking for Americans to shift blame away from individual responsibility (as is the case with many topics). The fact of the matter is that you can remain healthy while eating fast food, and that if you removed fast food from the country, people would still be obese.

Of course, it doesn't help that cheap, calorie-dense food is easy to procure... nor does it help when people are misled when they invoke the phrase "scientific studies show..." (see: wishful thinking; dark chocolate, red wine, etc.).

Blaming fast food for being fat is like blaming porn for having carpal tunnel.

1.) People should know that eating fast food every day is unhealthy. It's not McDonald's fault if you decide to eat it every day...it's your fault for being a fucking moron.
2.) HOWEVER -- because fast food is a fast and cheap method of food, it has an inherent advantage over many healthy alternatives which take knowledge, more $$, etc. to prepare...so fast food should be required to provide more healthy options
3.) Since when did obesity and morality have anything to do with one another?

3) they don't
2) healthier food isn't more expensive, just less attractive to the lazy. Problem is convenience vs inconvenience. Fast food should have healthier options yes.

Sigh, here we go again with sillies thinking that everyone (read: every single person) who east fast food on a daily basis is simply lazy. I don't feel like stooping to your guys' level anymore. I have an IQ to worry about, after all.

Why do you, or other people, eat fast food?

I eat fast food when I dont feel like cooking.

And by cooking, I mean going to the store, walking in, going around getting what I want for the next week or two, buying it, taking it home, freezing what needs freezing, refrigerating what needs refrigerating, putting the rest away, then getting out the pots and pans I need to cook what i want, cooking what i want, eating what i want, then cleaning the pots and pans I used, as well as utensils.

Or, I could just drive by, eat out of a bag, and have finished eating it before i finish driving home.

But laziness has nothing to do with it.

convenience vs inconvenience.
