So I was playing Darksiders 2 a little bit before work, and I figured out how the possessed weapon system works.

Anyway after a few save reloads and trial and error. I made a pair of scythes with:

235 damage
25% critical strike
29% critical damage
20% wrath steal
20% life steal

I've lovingly named it Jake. I have a 45% passive crit chance now and it hits for ~2.5k damage every swing. I'm basically invincible.

I just thought you should know.

i would trade off the two steals for something else, especially lifesteal. lifesteal/regen just breaks the game.

but ty for immortalizing me in your video game :*)

god damnit i just found out about the stones you shoot and how feeding them to the golem in certain orders changes stat growth.

i wasted like 9 mystics

I just started Nightmare mode.

i dunno how you finished the game in 20 hours. i mean i usually take my time when it comes to exploration, but even then i'm barely into the land of the dead and i think i'm at 14 hours?

either way this game is way too awesome and i can't believe how much they crammed into this compared to the first.

also i tested my luck in the crucible before i moved into land of the dead. i desperately need some new scythes.

I explored everything, didn't finish all of the sidequests but did enough of them.
