It's officially October...so it's totally okay to start discussing halloween and costumes.

Going to be doing a couples costume with my girlfriend. We went through a myriad of options and finally settled on:



I'm pretty excited - bought the whole outfit + wig. She's going to dress all 70s professional, and we got her a blonde wig. AND we're making matching channel 4 microphones we'll carry around.

What was your fave costume as a kid?
What are some other things you've been (list all you can remember)?


I set a record when I was a kid...went as Raphael (the Ninja turtle) 4 years in a row.

Some other things I've been: Eric Lindros, The Scream Guy, Jason, Jack the Ripper, Neo, Steve from Blues Clues, Charlie Kelly from It's Always Sunny....yeah that's all I remember.

I took the night off to take my kids. Ill just be something that complements their costumes.

It's so hard not getting carried away. Halloween is for them, but it's still my favorite day :[

Nihilism is a copout.

Working on Hallow's Eve, but the Friday before that is FREAKNIGHT, which means breaking out the rave gear. So, it's... kinda a costume? My favorite costume as a kid was the year I made my Inu Yasha costume, that was awesome and really rewarding since I made the whole thing myself... Or the year I went as a gypsy, and danced/sang at every house. I brought home ~15 pounds of candy that year, it was really well received, lol.

I've been a Pirate, Gypsy, Inu Yasha, Slutty Sailor, went in my school uniform from Japan that year.... Can't really remember any of the other costumes

I'm not sure yet. I have a Rainbow Brite costume that I bought last year, but I didn't wear it because it was toooooo short. Still not sure I have the guts to wear it outside. My girls want to be Princess Dragon Slayers and have my son be the Dragon.

On topic, I may work on obtaining a Captain Falcon costume. Then I'll just wear that sombitch everywhere. Halloween Party? I'm there. Regular "pass out drunk" party? You bet. Olive Garden? Oh yeah. Your cousin Mark's wedding and/or brisk? You bet your sweet ass.

I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we're going to need some pics to make an honest assessment.

I generally go to raves on Halloween weekend (well, have been the past 3 years), and I figured it's time for me to invest in *some* rave-related clothing. Have striped and sequined booty shorts and I'll figure something out for the top soon.

The top pic is cuuuuuute. I'm not sure I could wear something like that though. I'd be too embarrassed to show that much skin.
