Here are some fireworks to get all you party-goers excited, that I hear are the best 'every year'. I personally don't watch them live or have I seen any other countries display.

Nevertheless;

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

Happy New Years guys :)

I'm not one for crazy resolutions. This year I will strive to be kind to those I meet, help others whenever I can, and give love to those around me :)

My one goal is very personal and I will likely post a picture if I am successful ;)

See you bros in the new year!

1) Stop being so fat
2) Learn French or Italian
3) Go back to dating white girls

Also, in the cruelest irony, I'm the only sober person I know right now. I just got home from the last shift at my country club gig. Now I'm going to get an unemployed drunk for the next 3 days to celebrate.

Honestly? I just want to be happy this year. Last few years have been pretty rough.

Plans: I need to start saving, because there are two big things I want to do this year. 1) Get a new(er) car and 2) take my son to Disney World.
Resolutions: I don't make resolutions, but I've already started my new diet (zero-low carb) which I've used in the past and has worked very well for me.
Goals: I want to lose 30-40 lbs. by the end of May. I'm going to be starting a new gym membership around the middle of January. The weight loss isn't so much for appearance, but because I'm finally started to feel like crap because of it. My stamina is noticeably poor, I feel tired a lot, and there's an occasional odd twinge that makes me think I might stroke out or have a heart-attack. I'm also planning a short beach trip around the end of May with some friends, so being able to do some of the things I used to do would be great.

This year will be awesome because I can't imagine any year being worse than last year, and because I am going to MAKE it awesome!

-I want to start running again and participate in Endure4Kindness this year, or alternatively/also biking more.
-I also want to lose more weight now that my meds are adjusted (30 lbs since Thanksgiving, hurray!)
-I'd also like to do more for charity ie volunteer more at the animal rescue in town, participate in GISHWES :3 And the above E4K is also for charity
-Get better at crocheting and make a little shop on Etsy. Maybe make some resin jewelry as well

Basically all the shit I've been meaning to do but have been too lazy to do.
