Saw it last night. Was amazing. Lol'd hard.

Go see this musical or get out of my face.

Haven't been to New York in forever, so I've yet to see it live. But I listened to the pre-release score—NPR published recordings of the original cast about a year ago—and it was excellent. I'm definitely reserving a ticket if/when I go up north this year.

This is an excellent and hilarious show. A+++++++

I haven't seen it, but if it's any good I'll add to the list of "Acceptable Musicals for Men."

So I guess now we're up to The Blues Brothers and The Book of Mormon. Man, that list is getting huuuuuuuuuuuge.

It's currently playing in Chicago and LA. They also have a national tour so it may come to a city near you. If it does...absolutely go see it.

You're so missing a chance to rub this in his face about it not playing in NY.

Heh I wish. It's currently still on Broadway, and started there. The issue is getting tickets because demand is so high. I'll never attempt to argue against NYC's theatre superiority...though I contend Chicago's improv is the best in the country ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_al ... econd_City )

Really this just owns Aestu because the 2nd place the show has gone is Chicago...if it "didn't matter" it wouldn't be the 2nd place all awesome broadway shows go.

To reiterate: That's a whole lot of second place, Azelma.
