I've lived in Cherry Hill for 8 months and the only places in Philly that I've gone are Chinatown and a quick ride near temple to drop someone off. I drove down Girard once in West Philly and don't intend to again.

And that's everywhere, not just philly.

Philadelphia is a garbage city full of garbage people, sry.

I've lived in South Philly, I thought it kicked ass as well as the people. Many of the neighborhoods there weren't mixed race but the neighborhoods were right next to each other. Like most cities if you look like you know where you're going and walking with intent nobody would bother you even in the late hours.

This was South Philly. I can't say the same the rest of it tho just out of ignorance. I moved about a month after hearing my first gunshot a block from my apt & I still felt safe.
You can cross a bridge in Philly or NYC and it's like entering a different country - let alone the BF bridge to Camden, NJ..

The only racist experience was one night walking into West Philly late with my neighbors and people would go out of their way (change walking/bike directions) to come ask me for $1. My friends were laughing saying I was the only "caucasian" around. That was definitely a new one for me.

& Tuhl, South Philly Italian food kicks ass and so does PA beer. PUT DOWN THE HATERAID

It appears the article in question has become a bit of a hot point, and the Mayor of Philadelphia is trying to get it censored or something. I may have to go read it when I'm finished playing with computer stuff.

You know, that article might have had a point, but it's hard to take something by the already-biased WSJ seriously when they can't stop spouting shit like "Bloomberg was the most ridiculous mayor in the USA before this."

Whatever Bloomberg did that constitutes a "record-breaking tenure full of success," I don't know and it doesn't matter, because all anyone is ever going to remember him for is the soda thing. Good luck getting elected to a national office when you're pulling nanny-state bullshit so ridiculous even New Yorkers thought it was too much.

He's richer than Mitt Romney and marginally more likeable. I'm sure he's got "Presidential Loser" written all over his future career (if he doesn't just retire rich and happy and successful after 12 years of being the most powerful mayor in the world).

They can go after him all they want. We have freedom of press so that idiots can listen to other idiots talk about nonsense, and I fully support that.

I think labeling Bloomberg "ridiculous" when he's probably the third most important political figure in the United States is proof that WSJ is idiots pandering to idiots.

Being in an important chair doesn't make you any more or less ridiculous, imo.

Case in point, our last two presidents, and their number 2's.

I don't find bloomberg to be ridiculous, but that soda ban was stupid as fuck.
