Probably because we're in such a dearth of high quality games for ridiculously low prices right now.

there aren't even high quality games period right now. about the only thing i'm looking forward to is rome. the only other thing i've found this year that's been worth much at all was some deviant art nearly furry tier metroidvania game that ended up being pretty good.

My main motivation behind this is:

They're in the process of fine tuning the multiplayer to exceed 4 people per server and more toward a MMO capability. Doesn't seem that impressive, but as an indie game it's earned my respect and adoration for the features they've put in already and what hopes I have for it.

Wouldn't mind playing this game not so much on a MMO scale, but doing dungeons on a 30+ person server (in the process of acquiring post full time employment signing bonus) with Bucket/Reddit Bros would be a moderately fun time killer. I wouldn't demand it's worth a purchase yet, considering it's in early alpha, and feels like it will snowball like minecraft (feature and content wise) shortly.

Fun and clean time killer to either purchase now or to keep an eye on.

It's on and off again because of his server getting DDOS'd...3/4 of the site is disabled atm because of it. Basically you'd have to be lucky enough to make an account and buy the game atm the moment.

Oh, alright. I'll probably try it out. Is it under $20?
