So, I've been playing WC3 online for a while, and it's all been going fine and dandy. Today, however, my game decides to randomly drop me. I've restarted my computer, router, modem, everything, alas, no luck.

I'll be playing and things might get a little slow, then it'll freeze up, give me the waiting for host screen, the disconnect button with light up, I won't hit it, and then I get booted out of the game, and to the score screen. Is this something with me, or with my WC3 game, or am I hacked, or is it just the universe telling me I should stop playing WC3? Probably all of the above.


My first thought was that the NSA was spying on me again....then I realized lolnogovernment....Sorry, I had to.

Might be something you want to hit up Blizzard support to check on. If your internet is working otherwise, it's probably on their end. Not that they would ever admit that.

sounds like your internet, if these are ladder matches. if it's customs, then it could just be the host dropping. you get booted out due to a 45 second timer when players start losing connection, so everyone in the game wouldn't be stuck on the "waiting for host" screen for eternity. everyone sees that until they either leave, or the person lagging/dcing drops.

not really sure how to help, since i wasn't big on ladder.
