To answer the Jubber - I think WoW is the best of all the worlds... but other worlds do exist and they might be more appealing to you. WoW has PvE, PvP and... if you want, mob Grinding. Most other games can't deliver all that as well as WoW does. Another thing WoW has is the money to continuously develop the game. Sadly, most MMOs just can't compete because they can't afford to.

Check that list out. You might find something in there that is worth sharing with everyone else.
Nao... for the games I've tried since quitting WoW:
Warhammer Online has an unexpiring trial period now so you can try it for ever...ever...ver...ver...ver...er...er...er... The only downside is the level cap placed on players. Warhammer, at first, was kinda cool... but the content in the first couple levels was so bland and slow I couldn't imagine actually paying for that game.
Another game that recently came out as an 'MMO' is Global Agenda. This game is much like Guild Wars where you pay a fee for the game and then can play as often as you like. Global Agenda has some cool ideas and one super unique idea, but it fails in execution by forcing the player to constantly play the same instanced zones over and over. Also, the community seemed rather small. (So much for the first 'M') The combat is much like a FPS and graphically, it's fine... but the repetition is horrible. By level five you'll most likely be bored with the same environments. Another shit aspect is the central 'hub city' you play in. Everything happens there. There are no other cities. There is no outside world to explore. You simply team up with up to three other people, queue for a random instance, and go on your way. Aside from the PvE content, I read there is some engaging PvP content that is free. The good shit, sadly, you need to pay a subscription fee for. In the 'pay-to-play' PvP mode you are part of an agency (guild) and for a six-month period you must compete with other agencies for dominance over the world. More or less, the world is broken into hexagonal pieces and you need to take over the different zones... and you want the different zones because they buff your agency, I believe. Kinda like gathering resources from that zone...? I think Gamespot has a decent review on the game.
I miss how cheap WoW was for the time I got out of it... sure beats the hell out of buying a million console games... but I just hate that there isn't an 'end'... unless you're one of the nerds who can get every achievement in the game. I guess that's the end?
