I want you to know that I'm pretty much in love with your avatar. Is it some kind of awesome looking deity? The way the left eye looks makes me think it could be Odin.

It's a wizard. I haven't read the book in years, so I don't remember which one, but he's clearly in the middle of doing something impressive.

TBH out of all of the books ive read in that series, its my least favorite, but still worth a read. The first/second one are def the best.

I've read all of his books. I own most of them. I have that book, it just wasn't "home".

Small Gods is my favourite, but the first two really were great. They were also my introduction to the series, which made them even more special. I think I read this one only once, about 15-20 years ago, so I can't really say how much I liked it.

I havent read that one, and i tried to read them in order best i could. got most of the books from my school library and read them during spares because of my schedule i couldnt go home early or do somethin else in that time which sucked. got about half done the series, ran out of them there, and havent been bothered to pick more up in the public library.

keep in mind, there isn't necessarily an order to read them in.

Mort before Soul Magic would be one of the few constraints time-wise.

pyramids, wyrd sisters, equal rites, small gods, colour of magic, and maybe sourcery/faust can be read separately, if not first. The storylines of the latter two don't have strong requirements like the Mort/Soul Magic link.

there are little tidbits and cliques to the books. personally, i'm not a big fan of the night watch crew, but i did give it another chance a year later and found it better.

I've read only the Sam Vimes books so far. I think I might get the wizard ones next when I finish with old Vimesy. Color of Magic at the very least, and Small Gods because apparently it's great(er) than the average Pratchett book.

I had a sesame seed stuck in between my teeth and spent the last 5 minutes trying to get it out with my thumbnail. Needless to say, I got it out.

hey if you like that series try the Riverworld series by Philip Jose Farmer. it's not as well written and the author adds himself into the story along with other integral characters from history, i.e. sam clemens, king john, richard burton (which is pretty self-aggrandizing imo) but it's still pretty good.

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.
