Doesn't excuse you from ninjaing something. Then when called out on it, going back and rolling for it

1. If my intent was to ninja why did I roll off the gloves and key? I could have kept them for myself.
2. If my intent was to ninja then why did I give this person a fair chance at their shield?
3. How are you so sure I gave in because of your threat and not because of what I said, which was that I honestly did not realize this person wanted it?
4. What makes this person credible given they were caught in a lie in this very exchange?

Don't get me wrong - I think you're a decently cool person, and I'd like to get over this misunderstanding. Why not just take me at my word at put it behind us?

You did not lock it, and the ONLY loot rules established were free roll on the key. So what gives you the right to loot something without checking others. In fact you asked AFTER you looted the shield, does anyone want this?


BTW, gj on making that shit up about me on BWL. If you want to look I've only ever done BWL twice, one time was literally a year ago. the other time was sometime in the last 6 months, IDK when exactly.

I honestly assumed no one would want loot from Naxx-25 - that all anyone would want was the stupid meta-achievement and the key, or something to do. I didn't say I was locking it because I assumed no one would care. I suppose that was presumptuous.

That story wasn't made-up, it was related to me by someone else. As to its truth, I cannot say firsthand, true.

I appreciate that if you want to accuse me of something. Do so with first hand knowledge, not some fucking heresy.

Why would you even post this? Who do you think cares that some guy fibbed to you about how many times he ran HoR? At best it makes you look like a vindictive asshole.

Because this same person accused me of being dishonest. It is a fitting irony.

If I *wanted* to accuse you, I'd have done it outside what I saw as a relevant context in a dialogue. Suffice to say, I do not. I see no reason to not take your word for it.

a) I have never seen that person posting on these forums, so posting here accomplishes nothing, and b) your actions did seem dishonest - you claim you didn't think anyone would want loot from Naxx, but clearly you yourself wanted loot, and it would have been reasonable to think that other people in the raid would too. The shield in particular, as it is better than anything available from badges or 5-mans. You could have stated that the shield was locked beforehand and just as many people would have joined, but you didn't.

I'll concede that. My intent in posting was to prove a point to Kamguh - that I'm by nature basically honest, even when I don't have to be.

I could have ninjaed the shield and left him none the wiser. Certainly, I spent over an hour in this frustrating and uncertain task of setting the whole thing up for a 10%ish chance at it.

It's amusing to me when one thing leads to another. Like being second-guessed, it's a recurring constant in my life.

If you wanted to prove a point to him you could have invited him to a group when you did eventually roll for the item. Oh wait, you did that. You posted this to prove that somebody lied to you, which I'm pretty sure nobody besides yourself cares about.

He didn't know it was me and had my alt on ignore. I could have sent a mail but I felt this would be more forceful and amusing to all parties.
