If so, in your opinion, is the show worth it?

I haven't seen them live in person.

However, I watched one of their concert DVDs (It had everything off their Demon Days album)

The show itself looked pretty awesome. They obviously make heavy use of screens to show their cartoons (suspended above the stage) and the animation is of course sweet. They were also all behind these screens on the stage so you could only see the outline of them. They also had a bunch of dancers etc for random songs. Of course there were tons of changing lights and colors to the mood/beat of the music.

idk, I thought it looked like a pretty good time, and if they were coming to my city I'd certainly want to see them.

I just bought tickets to their DC show in October. The seats are good but two tickets ended up running $220ish. D: I hope I'm not disappointed!

I'd go see that one, but I cannot afford hundreds of dollars for tickets.

Pretty sure Dethklok is the only animated band worth seeing.

Yeah, Gorillaz is pretty badass.

Also...wasn't there some animated-video-only band a decade or so ago called Green Jelly or something?

no, they had some animations, but they were going after the gwar market.

they were also known as green jello until that got noticed.

Pretty sure I know exactly what I'm talking about.
