Looking to move gold!

Ok, so I figured I would toss this out since I have helped a few people in the past move gold from one side to the other. I am cancelling my second account until after the new year so I can focus on my lock and pally for cheeves and buildign up gold. Unfortunately (well, sort of) I have about 5700g sitting on my horde dk that I would like to move about 5k of it to alliance. If anyone plays both sides and would like to trade gold on horde side for gold on alliance or anyone that is going to faction change to alliance before the end of the month I would love to see if we can work something out. If not I will eat the neutral AH cut and cry the whole way to the mailbox. Let me know here since I will not be on much tomorrow but I could log at some point to get this done.

I play both sides. I can try the whole trade gold on horde side for gold on alliance side. Let me know whats what.

Can't you just
Post an item on the neutral ah from tour ally toon and have your horde toon buy it?

Can't you just
Post an item on the neutral ah from tour ally toon and have your horde toon buy it?

Yes I can, but the neutral ah takes a bigger cut (15%) of items sold so I would be pissing away 750g. I posted this because some people have toons on both sides and may have interest/need to move gold the opposite direction that I need. Worse comes to worse I will do the neutral AH deal but it looks like Fantastique may have some toons that could accomodate.

Buy expensive items.
Post on AH for 1 copper.
Have someone else buy them since you can't buy your own auctions.
Get item traded to you.
Sell item.

Your are correct sir, in a way. That is still taking a risk that said expensive item does not sell for what you want. I have two accounts at the moment so I can sell to myself and have regularly. I have also been looking for certian items to do this with that I could use ally side but they are far and few between. Itoms like Sulfuron Ignots and Elementium bars seem to either be listed for 9000 times their real value or not at all on the horde side, lol.

I have moved about 10k worth of items using Meowths listed method minus getting another party involved for quite a while. Very easy way to make money on pets available only in faction capitals.

Buy 200+ of the faction specific pets.
Buy savory deviate delight recipes.
Buy Cat Carrier: Black tabby.
Buy argent tournament pets.
Buy faction specific recipes.
Buy throat piercers.
Worst case scenario buy a few of the motorcycle parts then use those towards making a motorcycle to sell.
