I miss the 40 mans, I miss the insanity of so much going on all at once and I miss the rewards of the difficulty of getting 40 people to be syncronized than the much simpler days of 25mans with what they simply say now is "more difficult content".

I miss the 35 yells in vent when a really tough boss would go down (the other 5 being too nervous or not having a mic).

I don't miss the lag.

I don't miss how 2-3 people lagging or being dc'd could actually wipe an encounter. However that is still possible, the likelyhood of it happening with 15 more people was increased.

I wish I could make a poll, but I know what happens to forums when they get poll happy.

Kek kek pole happy

i don't miss MC.
i vaguely miss BWL.
fuck AQ40 for being so great yet so painful at the same time.
naxx makes me cum buckets.

content difficulty will be argued forever and nothing is worth bringing up until aq40/naxx at which point naxx is still the legitimate hardest raiding i've done in this game.

i did enjoy me some ssc/tk though. and of course ulduar which is probably my second favorite raid.

I never understood why people hated AQ40 so much, I thought it was a pretty awesome place. I think I might even like it more than Naxx after the abortion of it was released in WotLK which killed any nostalgia I may have had about the place. It also sucks that the end of the instance was disregarded by so many guilds (including mine) because the end of the instance was where all of the awesomeness was it. Did Basher Inc ever even kill Twin Emps?

Minus the hike back to the Twin Emps pre-teleport (especially if you had new people with no mount) C'Thun trash being the worst thing I've endured in my life (thinking of 4x mindslayers still makes me depressed), Viscidus, and never killing C'Thun or putting any serious time in to learning him. Also farming Maraudon for nature resist, but Huhu itself was a great fight.

But I was also a warrior for majority of my time in Naxx and the gear there was total bonerjams whereas for most other classes it was some weird hybrid stuff for 80% of the instance

SSC/TK was the height of WoW.

I disagree, I fully believe the height of WoW was somewhere in Vanilla, though I have yet to pinpoint what part of vanilla...

I didn't really hate AQ40, just leaves a bad taste because it was such a wipe fest for so long and the run back/trash was ungodly. That and I'm pretty sure we spent more time wiping to C'thun then we did 4HM which everyone always claims as AMG SO LONG. then again most of our time on that fight was STRATS LOL LOTS OF STRATS and not pulling since execution was almost never the problem.

Ulduar is definitely the top raid for WOTLK, in my opinion.

The absolute height of WoW was when 90% of the population was between level 20 and 40 and Ashenvale was a fucking war zone.

The height of my WoW experience was at 60.

And briefly in Sunwell.
