I don't that I even want to play anymore. All these changes are just so overwhelming, I think I'll just stop till cata when they're more balanced.

Meowth pulled off 11k today with glyphs and could probably pull more.

Fucking cunt.

also this

After spending about six hours running in circles between the reforger and the AH in the Exodar, then spending another two rebinding almost every ability including a good number that weren't in any way changed by the patch, I actually sat down and tried tanking a fiveman.

Prot paladins are perfectly fine, and anyone who says otherwise, is a bad player.

They're arguably even more fun now that the rotation is dynamic and very skill-based. There's enough abilities on the bar and things off CD at any given time that it isn't as simple as being a combo point bot.

However, I find a lot of the changes to the game incredibly pointless and obnoxious.

-new spellbook is pointlessly huge and badly designed
-reforging is an obnoxious and insanely nerdy timesink, alternatvely staring at a mess of numbers and clicking menus on an NPC that doesn't even have a proper name is not any sane person's idea of fun
-blue hit is the dumbest idea in the history of the game
-new relics are gay
-new UI is overdone and obnoxious and has that characteristically shallow, prefabricated Activision feel
-raid points are a game-killing grindfest...really, I'm supposed to be excited when I kill a boss and a number pops up on a screen?
-the chat throttle is overtuned and a sad commentary on the state of the game's community

Not only that, but wasn't getting rid of badges supposed to be a step toward simplifying the system? Why have two tiers of "points," if you're looking to simplify?

I didn't like some of the new stuff I saw tonight, and new DPS numbers are redonkerous.

Jubber

Agreed in regard to the UI. Certain aspects of blizzs default ui are currently not working for me. Trying to play with half my modded Ui is also a pain but I know that has nothing to do with blizzard. The look for the spell book is excessively large, but I feel it is an improvement. I will be on the look out for a mod that retains the new look, but decreases the overall size.

I thought the addition of searching guild members professions through the guild tab was nice, but the layout is rather sloppy. It looks like an unpolished outline in word. Instead, I would have it display just the icon with a number on the corner of it indicating how many people online have that profession. Clicking on it would bring up a list of crafters in order of the number of recipes they currently have. I think it would also be clutch if there was a blank equip slot at the top of the panel which you could plop a piece of gear into and cause the panel to filter to appropriate enchants and gems. For example, if I drop a pair of healing gloves there, then it would display every spell caster related gem and enchant my guild can currently offer.

Not looking forward to having to figure out reforging, and quiet frankly I am starting to feel over whelmed with everything I have to do to new gear. In theory the whole gemming, enchanting, reforging things seems like it could be fun for customizing a piece of gear but lets face it, depending on your role/class you end up just stacking a single stat anyway making the whole endeavor pointless. Why not just give me the gear as it should be and get rid of the 3 extra steps I need to make in order to equip it?

I have no qualms against the justice point system yet but I have yet to experience it. So far it's just something that is there to me.

"Hey guys, we removed block rating and armor pen from the game!"
"Really?"
"Well...no. But mostly! Oh, and we introduced this great new stat!"
"Wow! What does it do?"
"Makes you block more often!"

Up to 22k. Hate to disappoint.

ps fuck this new "guild ui" if you can even call it that. Character pane and the flight master window are neat but will take some getting used to.

Glad I went back horde side, glyphs started off at 30g and are already dropping.
