A "horribly deficient" prot pally who's tanked 8/12 heroic icc25 while leading every raid and never had any issues till now. I ran a random with my frost DK (17k~ dps on H saurfang) and my boomkin; they were pulling mobs off of me on every pull. At the last boss, no matter what I did, I could not climb above 70% threat on the boss after the DK pulled it off of me. The boomkin was above me, and a well-geared mage in the group was beating me on threat as well.
Using (what seems to be) a wise single target rotation/priority system of: 3 holy power shield of the righteous > CS till 3 holy power > avenger's shield > judgement > consecrate > holy wrath. Can't hold aggro, period. 6050~ GS prot pally, properly gemmed, geared, and (as far as I can tell), specced. Righteous fury was on.
This system is broken.
I agree with this. For pally threat to be fixed, our major threat abilities should hit 2-3 times as hard as they do now.
