My mother would have washed my mouth out with soap for saying the N-Word, and I'm not a fan for that and other reasons, but I generally think that if people wish to show themselves to be that sort of a douche, they should feel free. It lets me know they're not someone with whom I wish to associate (in most cases).

However, Zaryi is my friend, and if someone were to call her such a thing in my presence, they'd have a story to tell about me in the bully thread. General douche-baggery is one thing, douche-baggery targeting my friends and associates is a whole nubba level. I know that's not rational, and doesn't apply my standards evenly, but I'm a territorial alph-male and I don't like it when people fuck with my peeps and shit.

I don't care why she did it, since she kept it within the actions allowed by the agreed-upon rules. Dude was attempting to violate our airspace incognito, wouldn't give ID, and got shot the fuck down. Mayo does far worse for dumber reasons, and we tolerate that. I don't think anyone needs to get all butthurt and make this a free speech thing when Z was acting well within the limits everyone's agreed upon.
