It's almost here, which means my exam week is also about to begin.

Who else is stuck with an obscene amount of real life stuff to actually play cataclysm on release?

I'm not free until december 19th, maybe even 20th.

also: what will you do first etc

I don't know that I'll play the first week. I haven't decided.

I probably will a little of course but only when I'm bored.

5 hours of HUB work at UPS + 1 hour drive time one way + another ~6 hours of driver helper at exactly opposite times of the day (9am // 10 pm) = wtf tired

I took Thursday and Friday off work next week. I need a break though moreso than any desire to be playing in the first week. That's an added bonus of course.

Amusingly enough, I don't have class the Monday before it releases, then busy as fuck until the last exam on the 17th.

Finals start the 9th and end the 20th.

Yeah, I'll be leveling a bit late.

12/7: have to be at class at 1pm - can leave as soon as my presentation is done (2pm)
12/8: class at 5pm
12/9: exams start (none for me)
12/10: exams (none for me)
12/11: saturday
12/12: sunday
12/13: exam from 6:30-9:30
12/14: exams (none for me)
12/15: exam from 9:45-12:15 and then from 5:00-8:00

i could realistically hit 85 before i even have an exam if i were to get cataclysm

tuesday will probably be the least-productive day in the tech field this year

I too will have some free time to play wow after it's release, but grades are like real life achievements and I intend to study for my exams :3

Plus it's not like there's going to be 9 people waiting for me to hit 85 to start raiding anyway...

or is there... real life comes first anyway :3

I have to work all next week. I tried to justify taking vacation time for a computer game but I just could not do it. I will play at lunch and my normal times at night, but other than that I will just be on my normal schedule. I plan to see the sites and mine alot the first day or two and then settle into a leveling grind. I thought about going for a few realm first but I cannot stay up all night and be worth a shit at work so I will leave that to all of the OCD bastards in TB. My lock will be my main focus with my hunter farming for cooking mats, herbs, and leather. My pally is going to isntance grind while doing main quest hubs for gear. My druid is under the same plan as my pally. The lock will be the first to 85 and pally second but after that I am going to take the time to gear and enjoy playing my lock while working on specific alts during down time or if I just need a break from drainging the life out of mobs and opponents.

I do plan on doubling back to finish a few things in Northrend on my lock (quest for Loremaster, things of that nature) but no other character that is not leveling though there will go back to northrend or outlands. I have plans laid out for a few new characters (yes more) but they are down the line and I will cap out at two accounts because a third is just not concievable.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.

I had a couple of days I needed to schedule before the end of the year. I work in a union shop and I'm one of the low guys in the top classification. When I went in to find out when I could take it (we can't have more than 20% of pressman out at a time) the only two weeks were last week and this coming week. I didn't plan on taking off for cata, but if my hands are tied...

I move into my new house on Monday. The internet gets installed Tuesday but I will have a massive amount of unpacking to do during the week.

On top o f that I h ave my Red Team Review and Final Internal Review this week and next Monday for the project I have been working where I need to present my ~56 software design slides (26 of which are software architecture drawings).

It will be a crazy week for me. IF I find more then 6 hours to play I will be shocked

Trying to convince my wife to level along side me with my druid so I have a pocket tank when i wanna instance. Doubt she will cave though. So it looks like two non stop grinds for me until druid and rogue are both 85. Yeah right. But seriously, i will be playing as soon as it switches over. I still have a lot of real life stuff going on next week though. Taking wife to the doctor on tuesday, pool league on wednesday and probably helping my dad finish up the interior on the 66 Chevy II he is building. Even with real life stuff i don't see it taking more than 5 days to get one toon to 85.



Luckily I am retired so i have more free time than most of you.
