here's a thought. make an "@patch" thread and stop making a new thread about every little thing in the patch that gives you a hardon or lack thereof.

Can I add in that I like the removal of portals + the way Orgrimmar has gone back to looking like it did in Warcraft 3?

Also, fuck trying to get Pilgrim's Peril with level 85 guards patrolling IF/Darn/SW.

Speaking as the guy who never passes up a chance to bitch about anything, I approve of this patch.

I am very surprised and impressed by the stability and fluidity of the new content.

I really, really like New Stormwind. It's big, flat, and feels like an actual city. I am impressed how Blizzard made it so detailed yet it has less hardware overhead than most WotLK content. It really feels like Wrynn came back and did urban renewal.

I especially love the RPness of forming pug raids in the town square next to the bulletin board.

Orgrimmar is a giant fortress.

Also, killing Garrosh is going to be an impossibility come flying mounts. You know the bank roof that everyone used to idle on? It's the throne room roof.

I didn't make multiple threads about anything in the patch. I made one about the Sandstone Drake (which was most likely put into the game via 4.0 but won't be available until the expansion releases) and another about Westfall's change in leveling pace.

Do tell how I'm "spamming the board" with my "patch hardons."

Less than 18 hours before this thread you made this: http://bucketguild.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=9080

Equally poignant in content.

And instead of renaming your thread, now there's http://bucketguild.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=9085

My biggest issue with the patch is how sudden the changes were. I know Deathwing popping out of the ground fucked up most of Azeroth, but I don't see how entire cities could be rebuilt literally overnight.

Blizzard made us spend weeks doing daily quests gathering materials to build the stupid Crusader's Coliseum, yet Orgrimmar gets completely rebuilt from the ground up in a few hours with no player participation. WTF is that? Even if there was a week or two transition period from the shattering to the release of Cata where the cities were not just on fire from stupid little elementals, but broken/half built, with a few quests to gather materials from Outland or Azeroth to aid in the rebuilding effort would have made more sense.

You know, I think I had a memory lapse when thinking of what I could have possibly posted about the patch. My apologies.

I think the remodeling of Orgrimmar is supposed to happen before Deathwing himself pops out of the ground. Stormwind, for example, looks like it just got attacked and has just started rebuilding. I'd imagine Orgrimmar was refortified when Garrosh took over, not when Deathwing appeared. Patch-wise, they were the same; but timeline-wise, I'm pretty sure there's some time between the two.

Troll starting area makes me happy.

It's like the DK starting area but Zuni makes it personal.

Apology unnecessary. Rename the thread, dammit! :)
