I'm interested in levelling with four other individuals wholly through LFD with a fixed group, spam queueing to 85. This would be a single hard push on Tuesday for a full day until it gets done.

Obviously, I will tank this. So that leaves a healer and three DPS.

Anyone interested?

So at what was the impetus for you to go from being glad you weren't buying cata to deciding to power-level?

Some of the new content seems potentially interesting and I still enjoy certain elements of the game with my imaginary friends. There are server firsts to be had and even if Cata is not worth playing I do not want to forfeit them in the event I wish to come back at some point.

At any rate, I'll give the expansion a chance.

Never understood power leveling in new expansion content, what's the point besides saying "Hey guys look I'm the highest level before anyone else for a few days. I'm so cool" you miss out on enoying all the new stuff.

I can come back later and see what I missed; I don't want to miss opportunities at early 85.

i was like, 75ish when people horde-side were getting realm-first kills. had i dilly-dallyed less i could have gotten those titles, too, since they needed more people and i was told i was a jerk for not being 80 yet

PRO TIP: Do 25 Icecrown dailies pre Cataclysm and hand them in right when it launches for about 40% of experience needed for 81.

Didn't they clear quest logs or something for WotLK? I can't quite remember. But I thought they did something.

You could argue that when we roll furry/Goblins we'll be leveling to 85 at the same time two more times, given that the majority of people will have both furry and Goblin alts that they use after hitting 85 on their mains.

I'll be leveling from 80-85 two weeks after everyone else has bought the game ;[
