there is supposedly a fix in the works if its not already there that we get an extra mount per faction vendor. So yeah, another color horse that i will never use. This does actually suck for those that spent 60 bucks to get faction mounts and are now fucked. With is much as I tend to disagree with throwing money at achievments, I could really support people getting a refund for this bullshit. The developers KNEW people would do this and never put a stop to it when it first happened. Telling them "too bad but I am enjoying that 60 bucks" is a literal spit in the face.

I have to agree with Baneleaf. Not giving people a heads up and letting them set money on fire is very underhanded.

No one can claim they thought exploiting a bug to get a mount not designed for their faction was condoned by Blizzard. It's surprising it worked in the first place, not that it's being fixed now.

Thats the problem. It should have never worked in the first place. I gauruntee people have done this on the beta and ptr for months and the developers had to know about it. Aestu was not the first nor the last even on our server. But for Blizz to now say that they are going to simply delete the mount is very very shady IMO.

But they can claim it was unclear. If this was a known issue, someone would have said it somewhere. Waiting to diagnose a problem and announce a fix after people have already spent money and time on testing whether the possibility was even there is too shady.

There are lots of bugs that Blizzard doesn't acknowledge (Vanish), and if they consider it an exploit they certainly wouldn't publicize it. The trike clearly says which races can use it, and none are Alliance.

I have no problem with this whatsoever.

Nor I, but it def sucks for people who tried to exploit it and spent money.

I honestly don't care. Nor do I care about the "imbalance".

With this change, I'll have 149 mounts (counting the Abyssal Seahorse). I'll be back up to 150 in no time.

They've acknowledged Vanish, but they've pretty much admitted they can't fix it.

But you're still right, because they've never acknowledged anything regarding Blink, and that spell's been broken for 6 years.
