It'll probably be as a Horde Goblin. Still dunno the class. Probably mage or rogue. Would like a little input on the state of classes in WoW at the moment. :P

No point in coming back, really, if there's nobody around, though. Any guild, etc. willing to take in an old face as I make the grind to 85? Hoping the experience is as all-new and awesome as Blizzard says it is.

EDIT: Also, is there a vent server worth frequenting?

DOUBLE EDIT: I'm essentially making a new account, so, I think the whole recruit-a-friend benefits would work, if someone wanted to do that.

Mage and Rogue both seem pretty solid currently as usual. I'd say play what you prefer.

There was a FUBU vent but idk if it's still around.

I'm both, so pick one and go with it.

(more Horde, of course)

You say that as if my decision on what side to play rode totally and completely on which side you play on.

Which side you play on is only 99% of the equation, you arrogant prick.

Bleh. Which side has more cool bros, then? I'll need company for the grind to 85. Seems like Horde, but I could be wrong.

Well, hey there, Cally. Reverence is still there, eh? I remember legitimately applying to Reverence once, and then I think I quit WoW before I even got a reply back. :P

Also, Nine still owes me a Lionheart Helm, damn him.

this probably won't persuade you, however.

wow hasn't changed in the slightest, you hit 85 and then it's just easy dungeons, some pvp, you could raid but once you get your gear there isn't anything exciting to do

rinse repeat

you'll still start playing again, because, you feel the need to experience cata, just like everyone else

just my two cents

If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

I might just do that. I promise not to take anyone's raid lewts. I just want some company in chat from 1-85, mostly. Do I still have to apply for that? :P

Oh, I'm well aware of all that, Yew, but thanks. It's always been the same for me every expansion; I've quit WoW for a long time, then a new x-pack comes out, and I get nostalgiac and the urge to experience it, just like you said. They usually keep me interested for a few months; I imagine Cata could last me a bit longer than the last two, just due to how much they seem to have revamped old content.

I've played a DK, Warrior, Warlock, and Druid so far, so I want to avoid those classes, I think. Mage or Rogue seem to be my prime choices; I'm mostly looking for a very high skill-cap class (in PvP, mostly).

The game has come to the point where both sides can be fun. I personally would recomend a rogue over a mage simply because of the fact that leveling is slightly easier and pvp at low levels will have you giggling like a 6 year old. If you roll alliance please, for the love of God, do not roll furry. There are far too many furry rogues in the world at the moment. There actually seems to be a shortage of gnome and dwarf rogues and the 10% damage reduction of stoneform now would make a good fit for pvp. They did remove treasure finding but gave dwarves a bonus to archeology and since the weapon requirements are gone from combat you can go for the mace racial if you go combat.

Nearly all quest zones have been changed so you will actually experince old lands in a new way.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.
