this game isn't going to be out for another good bit, half of us will likely be casual because we play other games too,

Main focus: Players to pvp together, if guild sux or we're not having enough fun, we'll move to a different guild at a later time or do whatever u want.

Guild search under community: Dark Fleet
then join
this is not that seribous, but we will be killing jedis and old republicers

Don't think anyone's expecting SWTOR to kill WoW. Bioware certainly isn't expecting that. It's likely going to have enough fans to sustain it, though, between Bioware fanboys/girls and the Star Wars crowd.

i don't see how anyone expects anything from this game. i haven't played the beta so my opinion is prolly not 100% accurate, but everything i've watched just leads me to believe this game is going to bomb even harder then WAR did.

Well done sci-fi mmorpgs are a pretty large potential market going untapped. There's Eve and that's pretty much it, and Eve is really quite different from a wow style mmo.

Yeah but SWTOR isn't going to be eve style. Considering the recent plunge wow took due to cataclysm being a bag of dicks, I think mmo's have a much better chance to succeed now than they did during BC and even during WOTLK.

Yeah that's what I was getting at. A sci-fi mmo with the individual being front and center, as opposed to one's ship

a few things I potentially will enjoy about this game:

starwars lore experience done well by bioware
pvp meng
having your own ships crew that can do stuff while you're offline
ripoff WoW style for easy playability
