How much money do they think is possible to squander out of people?

Our subscriptions have gone down, so we're not making the same money hand over fist.

Ergo, we need to supplement our revenue even further than the million specks of white sperm between our legs known as Celestial Steed.

"Ok we aren't such things and birds are pretty advanced. They fly and shit from anywhere they want. While we sit on our automatic toilets, they're shitting on people and my car while a cool breeze tickles their anus. That's the life."

I feel so dirty that I ever spent any money towards that cause.

You should.

Also, the more time that goes by not playing wow the more they continue to justify it for me.

Browsing the threads, someone had a comment that "it's only a matter of time" before Blizz allows horde and alliance toons to Queue in dungeons together.

Anyone here think that will eventually happen? Now I feel like I could definitely see them making that just another "premium" service.

Maybe as part of the cross-realm service, but I doubt they'll just allow it across the board.

Really though, I think this whole thing is being overblown. I doubt this would be used by all that many people even if it were free. When this service hits, it will also bring the ability to send heirlooms to any of your characters of any realm (just my guess). They didn't design the servers to work like that, so I imagine there is a good amount of work that needs done. This is just a way to recoup some of that work. Is it crappy? Yeah, but we don't know how much it will be and I still don't think it will be all that popular.

It's still basically taking a subscription-based game and throwing in micro-transactions on top of it. Pick one or the other, IMO.

The game is crap now, and not even worth the $15 a month, much less $15+sparkle ponies+cosmetic pets+"you can play with your friends."

If you want to make the analogy right, the subscription is already your tax money. Everyone who plays wow puts money in and gets Azeroth and all of the patches and maintenance of said world out of it.

Everyone please stop bitching and crying about premium services. The whole idea behind the services is that people have been asking for certain things and said all along that they dont mind spending money, you know because mom has not started charging them rent at age 25. If you dont like the whole premium service add on, guess what, you dont have to buy it. I bought the star pony, and like Aestu and many others wished I could have refunded it ten minutes later. I bought one of the pets but will not buy any more. I do have the mobile ah/gchat add on for my Iphone mainly because I spend 8+ hours a week at my kids softball games and I use it there to pass the time in between at bats and innings. If you only want to spend your 15 bucks a month thats all you have to spend. Not a dime of the premium services affects game play. The real ID dungeon finder will be nice for those of us with friends on other realms but you dont have to have it to play the game. So stop the QQ and go get more purple pixels.

9 level 90s and 10 85s, Damn I need another hobby.
