Taking a train to detroit friday with a 3 hour layover....any good places to eat around Union Station that i won't get mugged or shanked at.

I haven't spent much time down there, but I did a Google map search for "food near Union Station" and there's a ton of different places. Just try one out. Also, Union Station isn't in the hood or anything, so you don't need to worry too much. There are a few peddlers and homeless people, but just consider them to be part of the scenery.


Oh also, here's a protip for how to not get swindled. I was by Union Station once, and this guy comes up to me and says "hey man, do you have a dollar? I can give you four quarters." So my dumb ass is like "oh, sure man, I can change a dollar for ya" So I take out my wallet, hand him a dollar, then he goes "awesome, I just need a few more and I can buy a train ticket." and then I was like "oooo wtf, I thought you were giving me change...I see wat u did thar" and I was pissed as i walked away, because he swindled me out of a dollar.

Lesson? Be like Eturnal and Usdk, don't talk to black people.

We met up last Labor Day.
And I am 99.9% sure I posted on this forum several times that we would be in Chicago and that people can feel free to meet us out.
