anyone else hate getting like a 20oz coke, and its like servings per container: 2?

who stops halfway through a coke and puts it away for another time?

single package things like soft drinks, bags of popcorn, small bags of chips, etc should have their serving size be the entire package.

big bags or containers of shit can have multiple servings per container, no problem.

things like hot dogs or hamburger buns or carrots should be serving size of 1 hot dog or one bun.


I picked up a bottle of gatorade and i'm like oh 24g of sugar thats not much sugar. servings per container: 7. Holy Fuck.

Haha I agree. It's all about companies making their products seem more healthy than they actually are (well, less bad for you I should say). Just think about how many people looked at that same label on the Gatorade and said "hey, that's not a lot of sugar, I'm going to buy this over that other sport drink"

Good business sense preys on the ignorant I suppose.

When I looked at my Gatorade bottle it has the nutrition facts by Serving and Bottle. Stop drinking Gatorade from the 1990's.

here it says serving size and amounts of serving per bottle.

its different on every kind of food.


c'mon, you know obesity is one of the top causes of all manner of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, etc. making fat people less fat would do a lot of good for the helath care system.

Trouble is, we as Americans eat like shit and don't like to exercise.

Sure, people being less fat would be great, but that's not the responsibility of anyone but the individual and those immediately around them, like friends and family. The truth is individuals have the freedom to buy and eat whatever legal foods they want and consume them in however large of quantities. The nutrition facts that the FDA puts on all labels aren't anything more than information about what you're eating; it's up to you to determine if it's healthy and if you're eating too much of it.

(PS: I've been nursing the same 20oz bottle of Gatorade since 9am! WHAT NOW NIGGA!? WHAT NOW!?)

Add some lemon rind

Also, seltzer water was on sale today for 88 cents for two liters. Bought two bottles.

i agree with most of this post. and i drink mostly lemon lime seltzer. schweppes > canada dry.

lose the aspartame.

Lime seltzer was also on sale for 69 cents a liter. I bought one to try it.

I buy generic, although I do agree that I prefer the slight mineral taste in better brands.
