As FUBU stands for For Us By Us, and is thus run as democratically as possible whenever possible, I am implementing a poll to gather information about what the community as a whole thinks of the current state of affairs, so to speak.

What say ye, Fubuers

Problem is I don't think anyone has a problem with current mods, just Mayo locking threads he doesn't like.

The rub there is I'm p sure Mayo has to be a mod as he's like in charge of the FUBU section of Bucket's forums.

We'd have to make a new forum site which no one is going to do nor want to do. or basicly make Mayo a mod for show and disallow him the use of mod privilages.

Nothing against anyone, just saying.

"Borrowing" IHAB forums was always a flawed interim solution. Really I doubt creating decent forums with stock software would be so hard if push came to shove.

I have no problem with reelections.

Fact remains that Mayo is the safety mod, as Crebain needed some kind of guarantee from someone he knew that this would be kept under control.

There's literally nothing you can do about me being mod besides creating an entirely new site and convince everyone to leave here to join there on the sole reason that you threw a temper tantrum at someone and didn't anticipate the shitstorm that would come out of it, Aestu.

If you don't like it, you can leave. Just make sure to let me know so I can ban you so you have never have any incentive to come back here.

sigh

I literally don't understand the point of even bringing up change to the mods. The only reason people will vote yes is so that they can be the new power-abusers. Pretty sure anything that has been banned/locked by mayo was stupid in the first place.

or perhaps you people like stupid?

The only person that's really pushing for this is Aestu because he's mad that people won't swoop in and come to his rescue when he's being picked on (this is, of course, not acknowledging that the people that would bail him out are the people what he's been pissing off and/or lubricating with corn products for the past couple weeks).

Eturnal's always been mad because whenever I lock a thread that is literally engineered to be retarded he thinks we're inching our way to the precipice of a Russian gulag, so of course he's hopping on the ticket.

Everyone else is just a lemming.

Even though rule #2 has been revoked, the mods still reserve the inalienable right to lock threads that are EXCESSIVELY stupid. If you don't like this, you can make your own FUBU and hit yourself in the dick with a hammer (if you're a rad enough dude).

It even says to do this in the rules.

Everyone's definition of stupid is going to be different. I think political debate larp threads are stupid. Point is, stupid can be fun/funny/ and/or not boring and the choice of whether or not it's stupid should not be in the hands of one person who thinks everything he doesn't care about is stupid.

Pretty much.

You made a spate of responses because you pissed your playmates off and now you're panicking that you'll be alone in your treehouse.
