The topic is now locked, however the vote did pass for new mod elections.

The owner of the site wants mayo to be the admin, so that's just the way it is on that issue. As for the rest of the mods, the people have voted.

Just know that as per the rules, the only people that are going to be voted upon are Zaryi and Battletard.

EDIT: If you guys actually want an election, I'll start it back up. If there isn't the sort of participation that I'm looking for (like 5 or 6 good applications), then I'm shutting it down, considering all the work I did last time was for nothing, considering it was down to something like 2 candidates at the end.

Yeah the whole mod election thing was specifically aimed at dethroning Mayo. Since that won't happen...i don't think people particularly care. Lord knows I don't - I think our mods have done a fine job.

I have no issues with anyone who is modding atm, but if we decide to switch some people out to keep things fresh, I'll volunteer.

I don't care about it. I voted no, but it ended up 9 to 5, so enough people voted for changes. This wasn't a thread for people to drag their feet about it and require some kind of second affirmation. The vote was yes so get the nominations started.

If the vote was to get me out of power (which it looked like), then why bother having an election for something that won't happen?

Do you also want to run an election for who will be the next voice of Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street while you're at it?

The vote included you, but wasn't solely to get you out of power. It was touched off by yet another dumb move on your part, but wasn't specific to you.

Do you still have to have your hand up his ass if you're voicing him or is it all animatronic now?

Being a mod isn't hard. At. All. All you have to do is move threads to shitfest instead of locking them, mark items NSFW if needed, stop renaming threads, stop flexing muscles and threatening to give people a reason to complain, hurp, durp, etc. In other words, don't use your mod powers to be a cunt... just use them for modding.

I know that's asking too much of a certain person. When I voted for a mod re-election, I had every intention of casting my votes for the current cast, less one...

Don't care, I think none of you should either, and I think we should stop these stupid threads. Not a single person here is more "qualified" to be a mod than the ones who are already mods, so making these threads and saying you want the EXACT same mods "less one" is just a waste of time and effort.

just saying.
