I actually agree with Eturnalshift on this one.

As irrelevant as a grammar nazi thread is, I find it more interesting than half the shit that's on this board.

But when I don't give a shit about something going on in a thread, I don't read that thread. If it were my levels of giving a shit that moderated this forum, 90% of the threads would never happen because I don't give enough of a shit to open them or respond to them.

I thought we only had one rule here?

Stop being a bitch mod, no one gives a shit if you don't give a shit. If truly no one gives a shit about a topic it will go away naturally.

And yes I made a new thread about it just to take up more space to make my point.

Nothing's been deleted or locked since I stopped the Earl circle-jerk. If you give a shit, no one's keeping you from posting where you like. We're not systematically destroying threads here.

Yea, which locking the Earl thread was stupid. You're just as bad of a jew admin as Mayo is.

That was an example of no one actually giving a shit, even the participants. If you retards had managed to stay on topic past the first fucking reply, it'd have been fine. Also, I felt like auto-da-fé-ing something.

So you're just like Mayo - if you don't like the way a thread is moving then you're going to lock it? How do you know if we did or didn't give a shit? You don't. "lol but bro it wuz offtopic frum liek post 1" Big deal. Most the shit on this forum gets off topic within the first page and like Dek said - if someone doesn't care about a thread it'll die to the netherpages of the forum. You don't have to lock threads unless you enjoy being a horrible modnazi.

Could be worse, I could be admin.

A thread can't truly go "off topic". There is no topic except that which people are talking about.

I mean, if a thread is premised with "This thread is about X, X is the topic of this thread" then sure it would be rude to the OP to derail. But otherwise who cares.

Hippie version: I don't need to conform to your neat boxes, man.

We should all just get together in some field somewhere and just fight to the death. Problem solved.
