Gentlemen,

Normally I am not a person who minds the token know-it-all idiot, but many of us could agree that we've got a prime piece of excrement in our dear community.

I am extending a vote for the exile of a member we know as "Aestu". I believe a full list or explanation of the reasons is not necessary (read: this keyboard is small), and well known, but:

-Constant, targeted hostility towards certain members (not talking about me here);

-Constant derailing of threads into conflicts;

-No civility employed in the transmission of bytes from defendent's computer onto this forum software and the server it is hosted on;

-Low amount of overall, positive contributions considering the above;

-The misinformation (eg: everywhere), the paranoia (eg: psychiatry, japan threads), and the bullshit;

-The pride in being a douche, as evidenced by the self-publicity following his exile from other communities;

-The cleanliness of the forum (ignore does not seem to prevent seeing quoted dung, and does not prevent derailing);

I think that'll do. I understand that "don't be a douche" would be too flexible a rule.

Signed on this glorious Pi day by an asshole, reminding you that this holiday will be two digits more precise in the year of two-thousand and fifteen.

Just as a reminder that the mods do the final votes about bans. However, if there's a decent enough opinion, I'm sure that some mod will endorse it and bring it up.

I vehemently disagree with Aestu on numerous occasions regarding numerous issues, I've taken offense at comments made with intent to insult or ridicule me, I've been thrown in the middle of conflicts with him among others as a middleman scapegoat.

I have many reasons to dislike the guy, but I don't. I have no urge to exclude anyone from this community for some arbitrary reasoning.

My advice would be to utilize the ignore function as mentioned, screenshot specific examples of potential rule breaking and message moderators and most importantly "don't feed the trolls", whether trolling is his intent or not.

I consider Aestu a quality poster who is knowledgeable about Warcraft as well as in real life issues, albeit a fair bit controversial in his views and in his delivery of them.


Never rule out taking a minutes-hours long break if he is just making you rage too hard for your own good.


If any member of this community has any specific concerns, please feel free to screenshot infractions and send a PM to myself or any mod or admin.

I don't care for him, but voting people off the boards is not a good step to take. We have an ignore function, and beyond that maybe people should just grow the fuck up and stop interacting with him.

Also this poll should be public, this whole 'well people are pming me qqing' thing is crap. If you don't want to speak up you don't deserve a voice.

I'm not a fan of his in any way... but I'm not going to vote to ban him. (I'm not voting to keep him here, either.)

If enough people ignore him then he'll need to find a new forum to infect; he can't survive without an audience.

Id have nothing to read at work if he weren't here.

Conflict propels the story forward and without Aestu all we have is Eturnal and Mns. And who wants to read that?
