Specifically what makes it change direction.

If she were standing on the face of a clock she'd be spinning clockwise without changing directions. O_O I can't even pretend to see it another way. What are you seeing? |

It's clearly counter clockwise and will always be counter clockwise. |

its broken because it leaves an afterimage. the real one if you concentrate hard enough you can make it spin the other way. |

She is now spinning counter-clockwise for me. I figured it out. For those of you seeing her spinning clockwise... Check her shadow! |

About a week ago i was lying down just vegetating and this illusion popped into my head, and i thought i managed to formulate a plan in which to see it go counter clockwise. Sadly i've forgotted what my plan was, and it's still going clockwise as always. |
