<a href="/imgs/kaelthas.jpg"><img src="/imgs/kaelthas_small.jpg" align=right border=0 /></a>In what is being called our most epic boss kill yet, Kael'Thas Sunstrider was taken down last night by I Has a Bucket. Upon reaching Phase 5 for the second time with every one alive and relatively calm we had a good feeling about this. It proceeded smoothly with the exception of a few shadow priests owning themselves with nether vapor until about 12%. Following a gravity lapse the mace buff fell off Mackey and no one noticed, as a result full damage fireballs and died. Kael began to chain through DPS, with healers struggling to keep them alive for just a fireball or two. Kael was still dropping. 1% hits and Kael gravity lapses and shock barriers simultaneously... he is at 1% and absorbing everything while we float around. The shock barrier expires a few seconds after gravity lapse ends, and the 8 remaining players proceed to tick away the last bits of his life as those familiar screams of joy erupt on vent.
