It looks like bin Laden got nailed because of good old fashioned police work: scouting, investigating, following people around, watching for unusual activity (like a gated fortress with a garage full of bulletproof vehicles in an otherwise middle-class Pakistani suburb), talking to people, and of course a good old-fashioned walk-in stoolie (one of his former wives).

Still, I'm really a "show me the body" kind of guy. Even better, would have been cutting the corpse into chunks and auctioning them off as novelties. Could have raised some good dough that way.

Not only that, but...when did Obama troll Trump? Trump pushed his buttons until he felt like he had to show the birth certificate he said for two years or so was a non-issue thing that no one needed to see. Obama did what in return? A few LOLMAD jokes at Trump's expense at the WHCD? Made sure he interrupted Trump's reality show with the OBL news? That's not a troll, that's just talking shit. Trolling is getting the other guy to make an ass out of himself, not just hurling cheap jabs.

I'm still waiting for some explanation of how the OBL death photos are any different than the Abu-Graib phots, and why it was OK to show photos that are allegedly going to incite violence in one case when it's now not OK to do so in the other. I already know that the answer pretty much runs along the lines of 'consistency be damned, this is my president.'

Gitmo was ineffective in getting the required intel to find Bin Laden. He was in his "million dollar house" for over 4 years while everyone thought he was in some super cave complex. They got him based on one of the peons working for that location.

They would've found him earlier if Pakistan & the CIA followed the wife they captured years ago home after they released her.

Obama took a 50/50 risk based on the possibility of the information leaking to wikileaks, just like he took action against Trump to prevent a bigger issue. He's reactionary and some of you think he's the greatest tactical mind ever.

But bin laden hiding out for this long is laid at the feet of the CIA.

Oh, and because as per usual Jubber doesn't know the facts of what he's talking about:

The AG photos were leaked and released by the media. The Bush Administration did not want them released (and fought against more getting out), and did not make a decision to release them. If pictures of Osama were leaked, the media would absolutely show them.



You should do more critical thinking and research and less assuming.

Obama blocked the release of the photos when at one point he wasn't going to block them. I think that's what Jubber was referring to...

No, Jubber sees this as republicans versus democrats. He sees it as "liberals were ok with AG during Bush, but now that it's Obama they see things differently". He's not making an issue of what Obama should do, he just wants to cry about how people who have no say over the release see the issue. He didn't understand what happened with the AG photos, and nothing in his original post had anything to do with what you posted.
