After playing Fable 3 it's of my opinion that Fable should just stop unless they plan on actually drastically improving just about everything.
Fable 1 was excellent (mostly solely because of concept), I've never played Fable 2, but Fable 3 has a benign amount of improvement over Fable 1.
I mean really, having to dance with a shopkeeper to haggle the price on an item is just mindnumbing. The plot was good but the ending hardly seemed epic combat and gameplay wise.
Spoiler (highlight to view):
It's almost like they used Walter being possessed as an opportunity to never let you fight the actual crawler in it's own form - so no need for a crawler model was needed, how convenient! Plus the fact that boss fights generally (and rightfully should) have some kind of special mechanic to beating them, Fable does not. Unless you count adds, but you don't.
So tell that to Molyneux while your there.
