Double Rested XP is fail.

It's not fail because it's DK 2.0. It's not fail because it's designed to appeal to casuals (which it is).

It's fail because like most of the dev team's casual impulses these days, it reflects a fundamental lack of understanding of the playerbase. WoW has very few true casuals these days - most so-called casuals are just hardcore bads, and they play the game (and level their chars) serially. Buffing rested XP makes no more difference for them than any other hardcore players.

No auto-attack seems to be an effort to defeat the "autoattack to 85" DK mentality and force noobs to play their chars. They're going to revert it eventually because it will prove unworkable, not only due to QQ but also because specials-only will be totally unbalanced. Imagine if a DK had no autoattack but the same DPS, so, to compensate, Obliterate hits for 100k.

The racials are just stupid. People are saying the food racial is overpowered. It isn't. It's probably middle-of-the-road as a pure DPS racial, but what tips the balance is the abject uselessness of the other racials. Anyone who isn't stupid understands the usefulness of, say, Will of the Humans/Forsaken, War Stomp, or even Gift of the Naaru compared to...fall damage reduction? Cooking skill? Hell, saving a gem/reforge with the squidgoat/human/orc racials is about as good as a slight increase in primary stats. At worst you'd be looking at a percentage of a percentage margin.

Anyone who believes Metzen's throw line about TBC Pandaren should be sterilized. The squidgoat are called squidgoat because...they're from Draenor? They joined the Alliance because they hated the existing faction of the orcs? The squidgoat were an afterthought? Durrrrrppp...

That part about them choosing the squidgoat over the Pandaren because "focus groups repeatedly found goats sexier than pandas" is just Aestu-level BS. Whatever.

"Pet Battle". I wonder if they plan on making rare pets more widely acquirable? I wonder if Mini Tyrael will be playable; if so, will he get special moves? Unhackable Mew, anyone?

I refuse to watch that so you must summarize. How are moves determined? Is it like Pokemon where each pet has a set of moves, some moves are common amongst many pets and others are unique to only a certain pet? Are pet stats normalized or differentiated, like they were in Pokemon?

Removing auto attack doesn't change much of anything. Abilities will hit slightly harder instead, so what? It even helps show who is the better player 10-20% of their damage isn't basically free.

Standing in one place is also hard. But this one time a boss actually did something where you had to move multiple times.
