So, I've finally caved and decided I'm going to order some magic cards from an online store.
Question is, where do I go? I mean, is there any particular site that's safer/faster than the others?

I have sliver deck with a sliver queen if you want it.

It'll cost you though.

I expect nudes.

I always just bought them on E-bay. The only thing was making sure you read the item description, cause sometimes they'll have a picture of the card you want but in the description it'll say "Receive one rare out of this collection" and you end up with some random POS rare.

I've never bought online, but starcitygames.com is one of the standards for pricing so I imagine they aren't going to completely dick you.

I suggest going to reddit.com/r/magicTCG or forums.mtgsalvation.com and asking around there for a safe place to buy.

For white weenie have you considered Conqueror's Pledge or Nomad's Assembly?

Or if someone told me how to properly mail cards or whatever I could mail you 3 Honors if you mailed me like 6 bucks. (Just stick them in sleeves and then in an envelope?)

Padded envelope in a hard case with soft sleeve, not just a standard soft sleeve, is optimal. Otherwise when I did real life trading of Yugioh cards on Xero Creative most people sent them in a standard envelope and soft sleeves. But that doesn't guarantee protection at all. Hell, one time I opened the mailbox and the card was sitting at the bottom and there was a nice rip on the envelope where the card tore through. I usually let people know my method since nobody ever complained and I usually got a compliment for it.

I took a piece of thicker printing paper and folded it in half, put the cards in soft sleeves, then taped the 3 sides and sent it off. I had a million hard covers so any large trades I always spent the $1 on a padded envelope + whatever extra shipping. Never had any complaints in the 40 trades I did there.

That fits in average envelope? The folding paper thing.

Trim the edges if needed. Does it matter really?

Those two are out of the current standard rotation but nice cards. Aiming for a deck I can use in standard as well as casual though. =]

Starcity is where I've been looking at, seems legit and probably where I'll end up ordering.

I'd deff be down to throw you some bucks for your cards. Hell, here's some of the other things I'm looking for. We can work out a price, etc, if you have any of these and would seriously like to do this.

Rares

Gideon's Avenger x4
Honor of the Pure x4
Increasing Devotion x1-2
Isolated Chapel x2-4 (these are the most expensive cards I want)
Glacial Fortress x2-4
Drowned Catacomb x2
Arcane Sanctum x2-4

I think those are all rares. These two I think are uncommon.

Niblis of the Urn x2
Intangible Virtue x2-4

and this guy is common
Gideon's Lawkeeper x4-8

Sure there are some others off the top of my head I want. I'd end up spending about 100 bucks if not more if I bought all those cards from online so as I said, we can work out a price for the ones you do have if any.

Also willing to trade you some cards too if there are any you want, let me know and I'll see if I have them.

If you're sending me cash I'll do a bit below the lowest on starcitygames.com if that seems reasonable to you. I have:

3x Honor of the Pure
1x Gideon's Avenger

I got 4 Glacials I'd trade if you're actually putting them in a deck and not just collecting the playsets of duals. I could part with 2 Drowned as well if you'll actually use them.

I could trade 2 of my Isolated Chapels...

I think Arcane Sanctum is not a rare and not even legal in standard?

I need a single mirran crusader to round out my set. Def need sword of war and peace(tbh I guess I'd trade for any of them). I'm totally gay for Sarkhan the Mad and Vengevine... Pain lands or any dual that isn't shitty (looking at you green/red & white/green) are on my pre-approved list for the most part. Except Scars lands, those were fucking stupid imo.

I'm not super actively playing atm so I don't really need things besides what I happen to think is cool :(

You seem to have a hard on for white/blue? I got a Gideon(is he standard atm? mines from eldrazi), Venser... 4x Beleren if he's standard(including sexy foil one).

Trading in person seems easier...

I'd do anything for some Rise of the Eldrazi forests. I can't find any for my G/R Eldrazi Spawn deck.

Broodwarden + 10 spawns + overwhelming stampede = win

[✔] [item]Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros[/item] (Two)
[✔] [item]32837[/item] & [item]32838[/item]
[✔] [item]Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury[/item]
[✔] [item]46017[/item]

I don't collect cards lol. I just use those colors a lot. I have a green white, 4 black, a blue, a black blue, a green, a red and maybe one or two others. The reason I want some of those lands is so I can go black/white or black/white/blue if I'm feeling crazy. I know the one land isn't legal, I want it for fun play.

I think all I have that you want is the crusader. Might have one more or two though. I'll check.

In perso. Is easier but different states lol. I figured we'd do the trade in small chunks or something. That way you know you're getting money before sending a hamdful of cards.

@Fant I think I might have some of those forests. Let me check and if I do you can have the..

I'll post back in here when I'm not on my phone haha

Landwise I've got (lol what I assume you meant by scar lands) two Darkslick Shores, A Creaping Tar Pit, Mystifying Maze and a Foil Inkmoth Nexus.

Like none of those are Dual Lands but w.e.

I have (Foil, prcons lol) 4 Fiend of Shadows
(foil, promo) Brion Stoutarm
(foil, precon) Ajani Vengeant

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur
Falkenrath Aristocrat
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas

and like 60 or so other rares.

Most if it is all shit.

That being said, if none of that appeals to you and you can think of nothing else other than the Crusader you want, cash is just as good.

We can hash out the rest of the details via PM if you'd like.

afk for a couple hours.
