I don't know about witch doctors but that's probably right.

Try going to a corner because you can use your mobs as a buffer. Ideally you want to find a socketed helmet put a ruby in it and join public games. Let randoms take care of it for you.

I thought that they'd be based off of weapon DPS?

It kinda sucks that 99% of the game mechanics aren't even hinted at in the game.

EDIT: You can just roll a witch doctor and sneeze locusts at people, thus eliminating any need for randoms.

Sounds good on paper mayo.

Vampiric Desecration Jailer.

Let me know how that plays out.

I just beat the fatty on act 3 normal. I have a while before I need to care about Vampiric Desecration Frozen Mortar Jailers.

Verily, I have often laughed at weaklings who thought themselves proud because they had no claws.

Trying to go back and farm Act 4 first couple bosses. I can't fucking move with the first boss. He summons the endless army shit that blocks my path. I bet monks and barbs have no trouble with this one, but ranged gets fucked. When I try and move through them I just end up clicking on another mob. Is there a key I can set to move to a desired place without attacking the target location?

Oh and Which Doctors. I'm being told to ditch the ceremonial daggers and off hands for a 2h weapon with high top end because all of our spells are based off weapon damage. Makes me feel lame, but I do a lot more damage with a 2h.

Interesting. Sounds lame and stupid!

For the movement, i haven't found a good solution either. I basically need to find an empty space and try and hard click to it. This was impossible on the Belial fight 'cause he takes up the entire fucking screen. It's pretty enraging.

I had the same thought. Only thing I can do as a barb is leap there, and thats on a cooldown.

Fuck Teleport
Fuck Mortar with Jailer/Vortex/Knockback
Fuck Invulnerable Minions
Fuck Arcane Enchanted being summoned at your feet if your screen is covered in whateverthefuck

Everything hurts when you're a Wizard with 8k hp in Hell, good thing I hit like an Optimus Prime truck!

Any high DPS weapon is best, I bought a level 51 2h X-Bow with 302 DPS (it has +53 - 110 damage, +13% damage, +72 Int, +42% crit hit damage, as well as a socket) on it last night for 15k off of the AH- I gained about 800 DPS.
My prior weapons were a 1h Axe with 225ish DPS with +30-110 lightning damage and a +20ish damage OH.

Just hit level 30 and got the passive ability that makes me poop out a fetish occasionally whenever I sneeze bees on people. I didn't think I could love being a pudgy african more, but I found a way.

I remember reading a quote from Blizzard saying how the Witch Doctor wasn't meant to have an army of pets because that's not what the class is. Its clear that changed somewhere along the line and its all for the better imo.

MY ARMY.

It's a shame this is all true

Quote:
all of the classes are shoe-horned into a build for hell+

wd have to have soul harvest (because their dmg to mana ratio is pathetic - it's build around a 5 stack of soul harvest apparantly), spirit walk and the passive that puts them into spirit walk if they take a fatal blow.

dh have to take ss and prep.

monks have to take serenity and the regen mantra

barbs have to take reroll and reroll

their claims of inferno being soloable were hogwash obviously, probably due to a lack of proper testing.

The cookie-cutter claims are all true, in that some abilities are pretty much mandatory, but inferno is still soloable through cheesy mechanics. Right now, Wizards have it the easiest with force armor (can't take more than 35% of your health in one hit) and 0 vitality builds. DH is probably second with smokescreen and prep invulnerability.

Inferno is pretty stupid in general, I'm starting to realize. Stuff hits for such obscenely high damage that I don't see the point in having added life or resistances on my DH.
