I always thought it should have been a queue in addition to the thing they have now. It'd be nice to pick which mode you want, how many players you want on the map, if you want custom maps or only blizzard maps, etc... then just throw players into a game. Instead we're stuck with fucking monobattles for custom matches and our 'random' game feature is to play a bunch of bad custom maps.
I'm grinding my way through 59 and I'm beginning to realize the amount of antifun that gets injected straight into your jugular when you hit Inferno. Diablo 3 endgame is simply mashing the refresh on the auction house hoping to get a decent upgrade for something less than a million gold.
They either need to make it so some elite combos can't exist (jailer/mortar, frozen/arcane enchanted, etc) or make the purple bosses a hell of a lot harder. Its a pretty big design flaw when in Act 4 hell I can spend 45 minutes wiping on a pack of Frozen Horde Vampiric Corrupted Angels, but kill Diablo in one shot.
Farm A1Q1 up till rescuing Cain on Inferno. When you're comfortable, farm the left crypt for the Broken Sword quest(where you collect the two orbs). Then when comfortable with that, move up to the Butcher and farm him + the elite packs before him(for 5 NV). And only when you're able to move through it all with relative ease, are you ready for A2.

I know but that's the grind path unless you get me or someone with some gear to run you through A1. I can do that pretty easily now, but fuck you I'm not doing A2 until I finish A4.

maybe if you weren't so fail you wouldn't die so much.
or it could be because inferno is actually hard as opposed to the 3 previous difficulties which i could solo through with a blindfold on.

Holy shit
Edit: Mayo, I believe this should concern you because the fetishes you summon have health. I read a blue post that acknowledges how much pets (dogs and garg) suck at higher difficulties. They're likely to allow pets to scale with our vitality.

Was the custom game scene that amazing in the very beginning? I wasn't around at the start so I honestly don't know. I'm willing to bet it probably sucked though. It eventually became pretty damn good, just like I expect a lot of great sc2 customs to come out eventually. I was way more of BW customs than WC3. WTB some decent Bounds plz.
SC2 is 1000x more popular as an e-sport than wc3 ever was, whether or not you, I or anyone else gives a fuck is irrelevant because this seemed to be the main goal and it was a success.
Side note, I fucking despise the custom game selection menu thing in sc2. It is literally the worst thing ever.
it didn't have the highest caliber maps, no, but it did have quite a few that got big real early. most of the really popular shit like uther party, footies, any tower defenses, even dota, go back to reign of chaos. much simpler, obviously, but yeah. there's also loads of maps that would blow your mind in terms of detail that you won't see hosted on b.net, even if you log on, since people play over things like tunngle and such for ping reduction. there are mini-MMO's built in to the map editor right now, complete with bosses that you would expect to see in WoW, with hard modes and shit. a bunch of us from /v/ played something that's like an arcade shooter the other day, someone fraps'd it, not sure if i can find it.
i really doubt it will hit for SC2, because all the maps are STILL shit, even the ones they tried to copy/paste out of wc3.
i know it was suited for the e-sport crowd, doesn't change the fact that outside them, the game is dead, and even that part is laughable since they still have disconnects in fucking paid tournaments, because they won't bring in LAN.
it's all sad, given the power behind the map editor and what ridiculous shit was made with the map editor released a decade ago.

Act 1 is on farm. Act 2 is cleared up to Q5. Put in some Belial attempts, keep dying due to lag/me being bad in phase 2. Act 3 is cleared up to Seigebreaker. Act 4 is cleared up to Q1. EDIT: By cleared I mean I killed the first boss.
