Not really. I mean I know where you're going with that, and I'd probably think the same thing in your shoes..but no.

It's really just the first thing that came to mind, and it came to mind earlier yesterday when I first saw the news story.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it. Call me thin-skinned, but I can't stand things like this.

And knowing you can't intervene, it sucks.

It depends if you mean you couldn't watch it because "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!" or because of how dumb the taunting was overall.

There really is no difference. Decent people have a sense of decency.

I'm kinda surprised we haven't heard a story about people on the internet getting a hold of the addresses or facebooks of these kids and just flooding them with insulting correspondence.

That's because you don't like getting riled up over something that's already happened and puts you in a position to do nothing about it.

Because you're logical.

You are like the leprechaun of Irish myth, except the only gold you have is from the Special Olympics and I hate you.

When I was in HS, I once called some annoying borderline retarded kid an inbred.

More recently, when a police thug was harassing me, I fully turned around and began to simply ignore him. I pulled out a paperback book and started quietly reading. This made him visibly upset. So then he tried seeking attention with a bunch of cop memes, "you want to get in a battle of wills you'll lose every time, etc".

I turned around, pointed at him with both fingers, squinted and arched my torso, and said, mockingly, "Oh come on, man, I've heard all those memes before, where do you get them from, the book of cop memes? You should get better material, be a little original man, you don't think I'm gonna go for that stuff, do you?"

The thug was visibly flustered, stared at me for a second, then sputtered, "Well, uh, sorry, I'll have to go buy a new cop...joke...book..."

Probably for the best. I don't want to go to jail for attempted murder of a bunch of retarded kids. I'd also be way too popular in jail.

Your poor excuse for a mother should have left you in the dumpster you were born in.

Didn't watch the video but just reading the excerpts Azelma posted was bad enough. It's pretty pathetic what people do to others. If I was her and got 400k$ (or any substantial amount) I'd be sure to let those kids know about it as I make my way to the airport for my vacation.
