That would mean actually making a Facebook. And I'm not even "Experienced" at WoW as I rarely use Raptr. Need 3 more hours and there is 160 keys left.

I was in the beta thanks to the Arena Pass goody bag, and I haven't had a Facebook for the past couple years. I'd be pissed if those beta invites required Facebook. Also, fuck the recent music site that requires Facebook. I forgot the name.

Turntable I'm guessing.

Also kind of frustrated with what they did to paladins. Feels like they're just changing shit to change shit with no rhyme or reason or cogent direction (typical Blizzard).

Looking forward to seeing how much they can turn pet battles, a possibly fun side-game, into a miserable and brain-killing grind (*cough* archaeology).

What did they do to paladins now?

Off the top of my head, they made most abilities hit for roughly the same damage which gives them little character. However, my biggest complaint is that they introduced gaps in both the protection and retribution rotations, which gives you 1-3 GCDs of sitting there doing nothing every 20 seconds or so. You get into a groove and then you suddenly have nothing to do (unlike other classes that always have something to hit). This may just be personal taste.

There was a blue post a year or two ago that addressed this complaint, and Ghostcrawler had the nerve to suggest that knowingly having gaps where a player couldn't hit a damage ability was good because (paraphrasing) "it will give you a chance to use a utility spell." Yeah right. Like someone is going to use their support/utility/long cooldown abilities because they thought "Oh, well looks like there's nothing else to press at the moment."

Theorycrafting is more enjoyable than looking forward to MoP so here goes:

The instant cast exorcism proc from Cata is no longer a gap filler because it's now on a 20 sec CD. Judgment was terrible in Cata until T13 which gave the spell one holy power. In MoP, they gave Judgment a shorter CD and made it a holy power generator, which they should have done since they released holy power.

Like Alopex says, everything hits around the same which gives me the visual of some Blizzard designer shitting in their pants at the thought of OP WoTLK early Ret happening again.

I'm not a huge fan of MoP Ret mechanics but I'd say with the removal of the exorcism CD and its ability to generate HP, the Ret would be in a better place.

Prot paladins worked this way through TBC. Prot paladins did not use most of their CDs, and the rotation consisted mostly of autoattack.

That said, the comparison really is not comparable given how content etc works today.

It's not entirely crazy. That said, its better just to expect the player to break their rotation, and is a typically Street BS excuse for being a shit systems designer.

TBC was best because i could do something other people couldn't, without even trying. You got hard just watching people thrust themselves upon your shield.

WotLK was best because it was spammy greatness and i felt like i was working with every button press as my dick got harder and harder.

Cata was this weird middling point which was neither fun nor special. It was just there and you had to make do with the hand you were given. Can't fap to that shit.

I see their new design being more like:

You pick one of 3 (unless you're an op druid) talent trees where they pick all the points for you -- because you're too stupid to know what to take.

Then you get to pick utility talents from a common tree every 15 levels.

I once saw an affliction warlock who put a talent point into haunt (as you should...) but never used it.

I think that person is the type this game is being built for.
