So I've decided to get back into it and develop a spiritual successor to Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I need some help deciding on certain aspects of the game.

1. Name. I can't use ZAMN because I really don't want to deal with lawyers and shit like that. I was thinking of using something related to the game's final level: "Curse of the Tongue". The game will take place within the same universe but would only have references to ZAMN, you know, because of the legal stuff.

2. Gameplay. Everything will be modeled in 3D but I think it'll be a top-down as was the original. I want to include some sort of multiplayer besides 2-4 player co-op but I'm lacking for good ideas. TDM and shit like that need not apply.

3. Price. I'm thinking free for always. Would certain content warrant an actual price? Give me some ideas as to what you'd like to see if you actually had to buy it.

4. Testers. I don't know anyone else so the lot of you are going to be my game testers. It's pretty much gonna be for PC only. It won't be web based like that last one. Yus? Most likely developed using Unity 3D because I don't know shit else.

5. Artwork/Music. Anyone capable of creating sprites or music from the SNES era?

I don't know what else there is right now. We'll see as we go. Suggestions?

What sort of mind set were you looking for in the music? I can give you some loops to play for certain scenarios. Would you be programming them in yourself??

Each level having its own looped music? The tempo and thrill of the music increasing with each round? Will you be able to program combat or stage music?

ZAMN is one of my all time favourites. Used to play the shit out of that at Al's house then it would crash on the level it was like a mad brofessor's mansion or some crap. Dunno why it would crash there =/

I don't know how to explain the tone in these video games. Sometimes it sounds like a teenage robot computing sweet nothings into the headphone jack of another teenage robot. Robotic, of course, and kind of nasally...

Out of curiosity, why a sprite artist if you're planning to model everything?
