Actually I logged on the beta for a few to check out the pally tree. I was surprised and happy to see that the Mind on Your money cheeve actually made the cut as account wide so I hit the 200k number when combining my toons.

Basically this. The changes to paladin glyphs are good. Every other change to the class is horrible. The spec is now insanely inelegant and feels like a bunch of random spells put on the bar to be hit at random. And yes the problem with CD throttling (having nothing to press at random intervals) is huge.

Funny enough Aestu went from ~135k HKs to ~180k HKs off those from Farbe and my other toons, enough to perhaps make topping off Bloodthirsty worth doing while using the $15/mo chat client.

The base UI windows are way too fking huge and annoying. Sitting around on my Amani Warbear was cool for three minutes. I queued for a random to test some things. Got ZG, group stuck at first boss. A bunch of dolts sitting on their Cata ZA bears talking about how awesome they are, so I get on mine and say it's the real deal. One of them complains he never won the roll. Whatever. I nearly solo the boss then leave, dick around a little more and log off. Oh, and Haris Pilton is selling a new ring.

Overall I didn't see anything that compelled me to play.

The mounts are battle.net bound, along with pets, so my third acct has my obsidium night wing mount. I was happy.

One of my guildies had a problem even getting that far and the tech support forums talked about deleting the battle.net file under program data for vista/7. The problem is he had some dude build his system and it has vista home which is horrible and he said fuck it and is going to reinstall tomorrow. You may want to consider that as well if you are still stuck since it will also clean out old useless patches.

Warrior rage is pretty interesting. Wish the Blazing Path glyph was out already.

When i updated it was stuck on 0% (optimisation) for like half an hour, then another half hour at 1%, then while it was at 2% i had a 10 minute nap. When i got up it had gone to the old red/orange/yellow/green/whatever launcher updating screen and it said it was at 97% then finished a few minutes later. So idk.

just did a reg throne on warrior, really enjoyed it actually despite that instance being ARGH NO MORE PLZ NO MORE SO SICK OF YOU

i love love love how you can save rage and make the choice to use a defensive skill or hs/cleave. i also like hoow you have shield block vs shield barrier thats neat. Shield barrier op for lowbie isntance farming (similar to old sacred shield)

Way better than every Pally change they've made since after Divine Storm was gifted unto Azeroth. I'm afraid to see what they did they Pallies. Have not enjoyed that class since they invented Holy Power. Well Ret was passable.

It's not so bad once I got my UI working again. And yeah, paladins are similar, it's more about resource management and choosing between offense and defense now. Will take some getting used to.

It appears they put some sort of DR on gold drops to frustrate aggressive AoE farming. And, uh, Aestu is apparently now Hated with Thrallmar. H SH daily was up and is supposedly same for both factions so I did the quest. It didn't award me rep but made the "Hated With Thrallmar" message flash again. Presumably the rep is being awarded but faction flag prevents it from being registered.

My Ele shaman is basically the same !! Except I only have 1 totem to keep down and my shock CD is all fucked up, and LvB procs are instant instead of casted and not wasted if they proc during a cast. Which is pretty cool..

As resto... I pretty much feel like a bad resto druid now that you can spam riptide(rejuv !) and cast healing rain on CD(wild growth/efflo ish). Oh, and healing tide is kinda like a shitty tranq.

On my druid... FUCK... I need more binds. I could have used more before and now I have like 1000 more CD's QQ
Actual play as resto seems exactly the same except for the million extra CD's. Looking like a tree all the time is cool. Glyph of lifebloom is nice(if you're at 3 stacks and cast LB on a new target it puts up 3 stacks), other than that the glyphs really do nothing for actual healing. I ended up taking Brez glyph(same as the old minor) and Glyph of dash(-60sec on sprint CD) ! Seems like there should be something better :{

As a bear ! I haven't tanked anything yet but it looks pretty much the same with the addition of CD's. Pulverize turned into an expensive dodge CD, +45% dodge, 3 stacks(?) 9sec CD 6sec duration 55rage. SO I get to worry about rage now to keep that up rather than "worrying" about lacerate/pulverize while spamming things nonstop. Could be cool.

As for my rogue, priest, warrior, pally, DK... I haven't really played them in a while anyway >.> Priest looked pretty much the same(disc) but again seems like a get to choose between a bunch of CD's.

In short for most of my class's->

1) Seems like there is only one real option per row of "talents" per spec(unless you PvP in which cast they all seem "viable"), haven't really even seen any that I was like "well I'll get this one for X situation and this one for Y" though again I've really only looked at the 2 classes.

2) Glyphs are pretty much a non factor. Seems to be one good glyph for each spec I play and then I could put a blindfold on to pick the others.

3) Holy extra CD's batman. We don't even have our new level 90 skills/talents yet QQ. My shaman will probably stay "bind neutral" at 26 + 4 on mouse since a bunch of her talents are totem upgrades and I will be switching elemental mastery(2min CD) out for a passive once I drop my 2p and only gaining the one 3min CD in panda(and a 5min totem). Anyone else think that you should be bale to play a spec effectively with 30 abilitys ? Or am I just a "noob binder"
