I'm going to attempt to do something slightly more productive than what I do now and I need a web hosting company.
I don't expect a lot of traffic for it but I do plan on releasing the game I'm working on for download there so I'd like something that could accommodate that if necessary.

Anyone have any ideas?

Amazon AWS also offers the pay-as-you-go pricing
I've done my own hosting for the past few years, so I can't speak to their customer service or anything

What type of game? My ex is a game designer and might have a couple of suggestions. I will shoot him a text.

I want it to be a spiritual successor to Zombies Ate my Neighbors. Or more accurately I want to create a game that has that sort of feel.

I'm reading about Amazon's hosting. I don't understand good portion of it though.

For Dummies version please?

From what I can gather, with Amazon EC2, your cheapest option is likely their Data Transfer pricing model. This is, of course, going to be a variable-cost depending on the size of your game, and your expect traffic-volume.
