<a href="/imgs/fathomlord.jpg"><img src="/imgs/fathomlord_small.jpg" align=right border=0 /></a>Thursday, August 30th, 2007 - Making a strong comeback from a two week progression raiding (and Guild Master) vacation I Has a Bucket took down Fathom-Lord Karathress with ease. After a few sloppy pulls they got the fight established and soon realized that the healing on the shaman add was most intense and possessed the greatest potential for disaster with windfury, frost shock and spitfire combos. The decision was made to alter the strategy and kill the shaman first instead of the hunter. The first attempt this way led to Karathress' demise with only minimal casualties and with time to spare on the enrage. Great job everyone!

Grats on Karathress... that initial pull is a total bitch. Shaman > hunter > pet > priest is definitely the way to go, and if you're not using a Feral to tank Tidalvess, give it a shot. Just put a shaman in his group to drop grounding totem to eat up the 5k Frost Shocks and your tank should pretty much never die.
