i do the opposite. i block everyone else's raid warnings and slim the list down to the things i actually care to be warned about.

i rarely have more than 2 timer bars up at a time (usually one or none), and only get raid warnings for stuff i need to know.

It's so funny healing on my druid when other healers bitch about how they can't heal because healbot is broken or decursive isn't working.

Back on to the subject, AVR is for bads who are bad. I got in a 30 minute arguement with Arturious(lolbad) and some jackass from Tasty Beverage about not having it. Finally they were just "WELL FINE BUT IF WE WIPE IT'S GOING TO BE BECAUSE YOU GOT HIT BY MALLABLE GOO AND WE'RE GOING TO BLAME YOU!". The bro from TB also yelled at me because I don't just blanket the raid with Rejuvs and it makes me bad I guess, he said he'd blame me if wiped for that as well.

We wiped because people weren't spreading out or getting spores. I immediatly yell in vent "SORRY GUYS, THAT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT HAVING AVR AND FOR NOT ROLLING HOTS, MY BAD!". They didn't say shit after.

While were on the point of bad addons, Gear score(the number) is a terrible way to form a raid. So many bads using the addon incorrectly. If you actually take the time to look at it, it's alot like Elitist Group. You can see if they're hit capped, D Capped, gemming resil, don't have enchants, raid history, etc. Which can be kinda useful where as the just the number is for bads.

Making balls and wieners with it and sadfaces ontop of dead players was fun for the first hour or so, about the only thing it was good for too.

AVR is a crutch, a really handy crutch for people that can't seem to get spatial positioning in game easily.

On the subject of gearscore. My druids is apparently at 4942 edit:5665 for my actual gear (i think it's wrong right now) and this guy killerdemon is at 5300. He was invited to a mostly RM alt heroic icc10 last night, and wasn't able to do basically anything. He had the gear and gems and enchants, so his gearscore was amazing compared to mine when it was looked at. Problem is he is a blood DK tank that uses Obliterate, no Bloody Vengeance, Hysteria, has 3/3 SoB, doesn't use Rune Strike, he also uses the IBF glyph, and the DND glyph as a tank....

Gear score on the other hand, fuck that shit. Retard mod, made by a retard for retards. Although it saves me time in deciding whether or not someone is a waste of oxygen or not faster than if they weren't using it.

That can be turned off. Just disable Sharing. Pretty much the first thing I did when I installed it.
