I think this was just an error in communication, and Aestu assumed by saying the key was open-roll that it implied that nothing else was.

Kamguh was probably just doing his due diligence as a guildy and making sure things were square, since other people did not get that impression, and he didn't want people running around accusing you, and by extension the guild, of having ninjavitis.

If it had been an actual ninja, I doubt Aestu would've given the guy a chance to roll. The only times I've seen Aestu accused of any sort of dishonesty, it generally turned out that those claims were baseless.

I think the other guy was, to use a new favorite phrase here, engaging in a little HYPERBOLE about how many times he ran HoR. I tell people I've run CoS ONE BILLION TIMES for that stupid mount (that I never win), but I think we all know there's no way that could be true.

Now that it's all over, rolled for, and done with...why don't we just let it go, before Mr. Tuhl and his associates have to lock another post over something socially retarded?

Not quite. If I were in Kamguh's shoes, I'd make the argument that my intention was to ninja the shield if I lost the roll. By rolling, you could say, I stood a 50/50 chance of getting away with the ninja at no cost to me. If I intended to ninja it, that is what I would have done.

What is it with the HOR shield. There was some dude looking for more HOR with the shield locked and I made fun of him for locking loot in a normal instance. He then told me he ran it at least 25 times and it never dropped.
I then asked him if he ran it 25 times on that char and he said yes. So then looking at his armory he had done it once and I called him out at which point he tried to change his story.

I don't understand why bads feel the need to get free stuff after it not dropping one time. I remember waiting forever for loot to drop and then it getting ninja'd!

Reminds me of that bad hunter Poonage with all the wierd letters who was talking about how he has been up to 2k and once again I asked if it was that char (people love to say NAH IT WAS A DIFF CHAR when you call them out), in wrath seasons, and it was so I armoried him and the highest he's ever been is like 1200 in any bracket.

I love the armory and statistics for catching liars, it's so fun.


on a side note...
Another thing that pisses me off is level 70s looking for more [Insert BC Raid Here] 80s only and calling it an achievement run. I don't mind it so much when they're just looking for more, but getting carried for free and not bring others is dumb. Espeically when it's not a achievement run, you just want hand outs.


TLDR: Lying in a game is bad and pathetic, grow up.

There is no slot for which options are more limited - or more significant in determining performance and raid viability - than tank shields.

damn thing never dropped for me, had to use skull of ruin / royal crest till i got the uld10 shield.

edit: also the guy wasn't even (supposed to be) tanking so he's crying about off spec loot that's inferior to something you can get from a 5 man.

As Sir. Tuhl said, who gives a fuck....it's 226 gear...and we're on wat....264/271 gear soon to be just 271....This does not matter, these posts to not matter.

I'd suggest next time you make a post to contemplate it's relevance and whether or not all of FUBU wants to hear you prove yourself on a matter than surely none of us care about to begin with.
